Types of FTM Packers
FTM packers come in various types, each catering to different needs and preferences. Here are some common types:
Rigid silicone products, commonly known as "pack and play," are referred to as hard packers. They have a reputation for being more firm than their squishier alternatives, making them suitable for penetrative sex. Internal rods within the packers help maintain their shape during sexual activity, but they can also be adjusted to mimic a soft, flaccid feel. These products generally come at a higher cost than their softer counterparts.
Gender non-conforming individuals, including trans men, may use soft packers to create a bulge in their clothing that resembles a penis. These packers can be made of various materials, such as rolled-up socks or liquid-filled condoms, and can provide a sense of comfort and confidence in one's identity. While they are not designed for penetrative sex, some soft packers can be used for standing urination, also known as stand-to-pee or STP packers.
